Lenka Is A FriendPosted December 17th, 2009 At 5:46 pm By MTV ASIA
Guess who I’ve been hanging out with?
Ok, so I totally gave it away in my post title already.
Lenka is here in Singapore as part of her Asia Tour!

Sweet was the keyword of the day
Before today, I’ve already had the song Trouble Is A Friend stuck in my head. Apparently, listening to it umpteen more times will not unstick it. Repeat, will not. But then, it was a totally different experience watching her sing live on the CNA morning show, with just an acoustic guitar: it was mesmerizing!

At Power 98 radio studio
Being a celebrity is really hard work. The day was packed, from radio interviews to TV interviews to photoshoots, with barely a break in between, to make the most of her short stay here. I know if I had to talk that much in a day I’d probably become really cranky.
She had to answer the question, ‘so how did you find Asia so far?’ and ‘What is the bush?’ (She was born in the bush) at least 5 times apiece. But she answered every time really sweetly, as though it was the first time she’s ever heard it; I guess it’s all part of being a star!
For the record, this is the 10th Asian country she’s been in (having been to a whopping 21 countries in 2009 alone), she’s been loving the diversity, and the bush (not a bush) is just open land in Australia, sans forestry or animals, on which her house sat on a 10-acre plot of.
Also, random facts: she hates durian, loves vintage clothing, looking feminine and, and high, high heels.

Being fussed around while shooting the cover for Singapore Cleo's Feb issue.
Lennat got to be in a roundtable interview with her too! And we took a photo with the pint sized lady so I’m pretty sure she’ll be posting that up soon.
There’s still chance if you want to catch her live in concert tonight!
Thursday, 8pm.
Zirca Megaclub. Doors open at 730.
Tickets at $45 only!
